    For the first time ever I was charged a $50.00 shop fee. My husband inquired about it and the man checking him out said there was nothing he could do about it. I told the tech twice, once in person and another time via our text thread, about VW coupons I received in the mail. My bill didn’t include those. Your service department is over priced. My husband is a mechanic but because of the computer in the car he is limited to the work he can do on my car. You all are robbing people. I was told I needed a battery and it would cost almost $500 for a new battery installed. My husband bought me a battery and installed it for a little over $200. I’ve been coming to your dealership well before i bought the Atlas. I had a Jetta. I will not be back. My husband and I were looking for another Jetta or Arteon, but now he’s uninterested in buying a VW because of you all and the last few service experiences we’ve had. The only man I’d trust in that dealership, who has been consistent and friendly, is your washer (Steeler dude). That guy deserves a raise. He’s the most honest person at your dealership. The rest of you can go kick rocks. You won’t be getting anymore of our business or money.

Regarding the shop fee, we understand, as it's another added cost to your service... To clarify, our shop fee is a standard practice communicated and explained before any service begins, and is used to ensure higher quality work. We apologize if this was not made clear during your recent visit, and we appreciate your bringing that to our attention. With the VW coupons, we regret that we didn't follow thru with what was communicated. We make every effort to honor all applicable discounts and coupons. We tried reaching out to review your specific case, but we haven't heard back. If you'd still like to, please reach back out, and we can correct this for you immediately! Lastly, regarding the battery replacement, we apologize if our quote did not meet your expectations. Our pricing reflects the use of genuine VW parts and factory trained technicians to ensure quality and reliability. We understand that alternative options may have been available, and we respect your choice to have pursued a different solution. We will share your compliments with our team member you mentioned, as recognition of their outstanding service. Kenny is the best of the best, he will appreciate the comment and will take great pride in that and we thank you. We value yours and your husbands loyalty over the years, and couldn't appreciate more to be apart of the history of your Atlas. Deeply regret that recent experiences have left you considering alternatives. Hope to be able to have a chance to fix this!
