Interior Space and Features
While the standard Volkswagen Tiguan has seating for five people, you can order the 4Motion-equipped all-wheel-drive version and get an extra third row to seat three additional people. This maxes the passenger space at seven people. The Toyota RAV4 only allows for five passengers. So, if you have more friends you want to take on a trip out of Dayton, the Volkswagen Tiguan is the SUV for you. The front seats have a memory setting that makes it so that you do not have to waste time adjusting your seat to the height and distance to the steering wheel after someone else drove your car.
Modern Technology Features
Drives around Dayton are more fun in the Volkswagen Tiguan than in the Toyota RAV4 with all of the modern technology features. Both vehicles have touchscreens that have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, but the VW Tiguan takes it a step further and adds Bluetooth connectivity and wireless smartphone integration. This allows you to access your music, apps, and contacts without any wires in your way. The VW Tiguan comes standard with a USB port in the front, but you can upgrade it with four other USB ports in the cabin. You can also choose another wireless route and get the wireless smartphone charging station in the front. The touchscreen on the VW Tiguan has voice-activated controls so that you can switch the radio station, your music, or navigation without taking your eyes off the road or hands off the steering wheel.
Get even control of your car with the Volkswagen Car-Net app. This app allows you to lock and unlock your doors, start the engine, and find your vehicle in a busy parking lot, among other features.
